I made a little "dynamic DNS" tool for my domains.

I'm moving all my websites, from a hosting party to a server at home. That means it has a dynamic IP address, and now that's updated for me automatically. No more brain required 🥳

My DNS is hosted by @transip , and their API made this super simple to build.

I've downloaded the phyphox app made by Aachen University. It let's you use the individual sensors in your phone to conduct all sorts of experiments.

For reasons I am on the 45th floor and my lift moves at ~5m/s, hitting 2 m/s^2 to a height of 150m.

IDK. I don't have a use for this information but it's very cool. ❤️

Auf dem Bild ist eine kleine Figur zu sehen, die einen Wächter aus dem Videospiel The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild darstellt.

Die Figur hat:

einen runden, dunkelgrauen Körper mit roten, leuchtenden Mustern, die wie uralte Ornamente wirken,

mehrere beige-farbene, tentakelartige Beine, die sich nach außen winden,

ein „Kopfstück“ oben mit einer blauen „Linse“ (Auge) und weiteren roten Details,

Die Gesamtwirkung ist mechanisch-organisch, wie eine Mischung aus Maschine und Kreatur.

Fish Shell question.

In Bash I can do "rm prefix[0-4]*.md", which means "remove all files that start with 'prefix', then have a digit in the 0-4 range, and end in '.md'". How can I do this in the Fish shell?

The docs (https://fishshell.com/docs/current/fish_for_bash_users.html#wildcards-globs and https://fishshell.com/docs/current/language.html#expand-wildcard) don't mention this type of path matching at all.

Hello instance!

Social media never looked interesting before but I'm having more and more the need to interact with people outside my physical bubble, both for diversity and for interest sharing, and mastodon looks great for that. At least I already found interesting people to follow.

I'm very keen on #anonymity, #privacy, #freedom and #empathy they are the cornerstones of a fair (even if not equal) society, IMO.
