I am interested how social behaviours (#MateChoice, SexualSelection, #sociality) and #LifeHistory traits (#ageing, reproductive traits) evolve in birds. I've also published on #WomenInScience. I use #quantitativegenetics to better understand how #phenotypes are governed by #genetic architecture.

I am an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Biological Sciences at #VirginiaTech. I study #evolutionarybiology in #snakes, #lizards, #birds, and other organisms. I use #quantitativegenetics, #bioinformatics, and #theory to understand #evolution of complex #phenotypes.
