Leicht bewegungsunscharfes Schwarzweißbild eines Bahntunnelausgangs. Viele senkrechte Betonsäulen, auf denen die ebenfalls säulige Tunneldecke anschließt. Diese hat Löcher, so dass auf den Säulen übereinander jeweils drei Lichtflecken zu sehen sind. Davor liegt ein Paar Eisenbahnschienen.

This is a black and white photo in landscape format looking along a straight set of train tracks. Tehachapi, California (2017).

The camera is just above ground level, about 30cm, is positioned between the rails and angled along a long straight length of track. The tracks while parallel in reality, converge together with increasing distance. The rails are fixed to sleepers (railroad ties) that are buried in stone ballast so that the sleepers are hardly visible. In the distance, perhaps 100m away, is a stationary freight wagon. To the left of the track is a further set of two pairs of rails raised upwards by about 1m and offset by 2m from the first track. To the left of the tracks is a line of telegraph poles with a few wires stretched from pole to pole. Either side of the tracks are some scattered small trees and grass. In the distance is a hazy view of a large hill, its summit out of view.

#TrainTrackTuesday: a southbound GO train on Weston subdivision departing Bloor station, and a haze giving colours that remind me a snapshot from the 80s

A train on a wide rail corridor heading towards the photographer, who is standing on an overpass above the corridor. The train is pulled by a locomotive with three front lights in a triangle formation. There are several train carriages behind the locomotive, kinda blurrying together in the hpt train exhaust so it's hard to tell exactly how many other than that there's about ten.

There are four tracks, with room for more. There is snow on the ground, except the track base near the centre two tracks is clear. Above the rear of the train is a signal gantry. There are buildings several stories high lining the corridor on the right side of the photo, and on the left on the horizon is a pair of residential towers.

It is sunny but kind of hazy, and especially the towers on the left look washed out. Everything else looks a little bit hazy and blurry, which is probably also due to some dirt on my lens. It's giving me the mood of a casual snapshot from the 1980s with a basic camera that didn't quite have good focus or colour reproduction.

Believe it or not, this photo of the snowy tracks of the #Brockenbahn was taken in 2008 with a Sony Ericsson phone! 😂
