There is an issue with openapi_first and #falcon . I think it’s not reading the request body right. Do you still have to read and „rewind“ a request body in a rack middleware? I think I need help.

hey ! looking for experiences on #UPS to be #rack ed, like 1/2U, integration in #librenms (so #snmp and #linux support) for 2x #Arista 7050 , a server, a management oobm switch ( 2960 ) and some small stuff. Im aiming at durability and option to swap batteries, possibly ethernet for mgmt.

I'm looking for alternatives to APC, would Eaton be a good option ? Other ideas ?

Ho and I'm in Europe so #230V :)

When running a high throughput ruby/rack HTTP app with a request logger, does setting `$stdout.sync = true` have a (bad) impact on performance?

Since last Saturday, we managed to generate 6.3kWh with our new solar panel. Meanwhile we are migrating our servers and services from low power #Xeon #rack servers, to ultra low power single board computers #sbc with #arm processors. We use #RaspberryPi5 running #raspios and #odroidm1 running #armbian. Most demanding servers migrated nicely. Last week we migrated #nextcloud, and today #zabbix and #wazuh. Performance is better than expected!

Just finished 3d printing my first 10 inch rack panel.

But my DIY rack is not ready yet 😛

Just cleaned and re cable managed my entire server rack... That was rough lol.

Whole thing is clean now and ready for me to put a rack mounted switch in now, looks a bit crappy because I don't have any patch cables atm which I will get when I get the switch BUT it's all managed and ready for the switch to be just dropped in!

Here is a discussion how the request validation middleware should handle paths that are not defined in your #openapi API description. – Return 404 or skip the validation and pass the request to the upstream app?

openapi_first 2.7.0 was released with better support for handling multiple APIs, including an RSpec integration, and an option to adjust the request path used for validation.

In dem Raum, der mein #Homelab beherbergt, gab es leider einen Wasserschaden. Total ärgerlich, aber die Technik ist heile. Jetzt heizt der Bautrockner dem Raum allerdings gut ein. Hoffentlich überlebt alles. Das Positivste daran: wir haben die Gelegenheit genutzt und ausgemistet und ich kriege ein zweites #Rack.
