I self-host my own e-mail servers for ~25 years now. Just finished he migration to a new system today.

- OS: FreeBSD 15.0-RELEASE
- MTA: Postfix 3.10
- IMAP: Dovecot 2.3
- Filter: Rspamd 3.14

I used Imapsync to migrate the content of my Mailboxes from the old to the new system. Worked absolutely fine.

Having the E-Mail Jail and the mailbox data on an encrypted ZFS dataset (AES256) that's manually unlocked with my passphrase after rebooting the system. Backups are done via ZFS send/recv to by backup server (-w for raw send to ensure, data is encrypted at rest)

- SPF: ✅
- DKIM Signing: ✅
- DMARC Reporting: ✅
- E-Mail delivery to major providers: ✅
- IPv6 working and actually being used: ✅

All working perfectly well. In about a week, I'll decomission the old Debian based system, that I used since 2017!

I got upset because journal apps on the Play Store usually have only one option: "Google Drive" for backup, even though I don't use Google Drive any more, despite having a 1TB student trial for one year. I usually self-host my cloud storage.

Tinkering with local LLMs is a lot of fun, and those mid-size models (20-70B parameters) are good enough for many everyday tasks.

For folks interested in #selfhosting #rss , I found FreshRSS (https://freshrss.org/) to be an execellent and easy to deploy service that's supported by many Android RSS reader apps next to services like Innoreader and Feedly.

It doesn't shove subscriptions down your throat or push AI on every step.

Inspired by @ele selfhosting journey and I trying to get all this working and what I started from is getting Ghost working inside Yunohost.
Not that I want to publish a paid newsletter, I just thinking about moving from Medium and I like Ghost's post editor 😜

But I guess I did something wrong or whatever. Does yunohost allow install app like ghost right at domain root? Without some path like `/blog`? If that "blog" path added, Fediverse features seems to not work.
