That time when #Nikon had an oil leaking shutter on their #D600

Today I swapped on the F1.8 50mm fixed focal lens (my favourite lens that I own) and snapped a few test shots, and damn I forgot how nice crisp the shutter sounds. 🥰

What is/was the worst camera you ever owned? The #nikon #d600 was notorious for its oil splashes on to the sensor causing these spots on the upper left corner... Incidentally the best camera I ever had was also a #Nikon ;-)

Beware Of Dog

I shot this on a sunny April morning in 2015 with my #Nikon #D600

I was in the midst of focusing & setting my exposure when I saw the dog... I snapped this exposure, and quickly threw all my gear in the back of my truck as the dog was charging me.

A braver photographer might have stayed to catch the shots of the bared teeth dog with drool dripping, frozen in time just before the moment of impact. Not me.
