The Desktop PC really is something I'm interested in, but I wonder how the pricing will work.

At $1,099 doesn't seem too bad, buy even then it still has to battle with laptops with an RTX at that price point.

Again, the + Intel combo is readily available in terms of graphics and power, so I don't see this flying off from shelves, but what do I know.

I have to say that I thought would give in and let users add an NVMe in the redesigned , but they didnt.

The redesign proves they don't want to, and it will be this way for at least a decade. At least easier to for the user to plug in an USB-C SSD.

You're not forced to "upgrade" from anytime, but if you think it's a good opportunity to do it:

“I don’t buy laptops because they get old after three years”

That’s a load of bullshit. Even a desktop PC gets old in three years. By the time you upgrade you’re buying motherboard, CPU, and even RAM, brand new.

With that prices, I’ll rather buy another laptop. Selling the old one is easier than PC parts (since you can test it).
