That means this stunning snowy #landscape (and the chaos it brought) that we've enjoyed over the last few days will turn to slush, marking the end of the #snow for now. 🥲

So langsam kehren die Elbauen aus der Umflut bei #Magdeburg zurück. Sogar die #Ehle kann man wieder als Strom ausmachen.

Vor ein paar Tagen fuhr ich mit dem Fahrrad für eine kurze Tour von #Magdeburg nach #Heyrothsberge und Biederitz. Dabei kam ich an den Resten der im Jahr 1846 eröffneten und 1998 stillgelegten Flutbrücke über die #Ehle vorbei. 🛤️

Es handelt sich um eine der ältesten, noch erhaltenen Blechträgerbrücken weltweit. Früher verband diese Bahnlinie – mit der ebenfalls noch existierenden Brücke über die alte Elbe und der Hubbrücke – die ostelbischen Gebiete direkt mit dem Industriestandort #Buckau. 🏭
