Erster Blick auf #EndeavourOSLinux : die Systemsteuerung hat 'Defaults', 'Reset' und 'Apply' Knöpfe: 👍
Plasma KDE gefällt mir auch besser.
Das wars aber auch schon in der Liveversion, mal sehen ob ich ein-zwei Spiele via Steam zum Laufen bekomme.

Someone recommended I try yay for package management on an #Arch system, vs paru. It is my understanding that these applications are abstractions of pacman, which i presume is an abstraction of something... but i'm new to Arch Linux, and I'm not sure that matters at this point in the timeline (approaching the #Singularity). In any case...

Oh, there's multiple ways to skin that cat. We know.
my first thought was #fstab but i'm thinking not. and then there's also that graphical app for adjusting FlatPak permissions (and hell if i remember where or how i was so graced with it on a system once!)

Updating my #EndeavourOSLinux installation and I noticed an interesting culture difference around risk. On Endeavour, the default option is yes, while on #fedora , the default is much more likely to be no.

I was lied to about the difficulty of #arch. I switched to #EndeavourOSLinux after almost a year on #nobara and after getting all my software installed everything just works boringly fine but without all the jank nobara had.

I am getting a very disruptive bug on my laptop, and it appears others have got it too. However, it's not clear what has caused it. Please respond if you/an acquaintance has a similar problem, with system details, so I can report this in the right place.

I put my laptop on sleep. When I turn it on the screen is pixel noise, which sometimes gives way to the lock screen.

Disco duro externo no quiere montarse. Le paso badblocks y todo correcto. De repente, le digo: "sudo mount dev/sda1 /mnt" y me deja perfectamente (con todos los archivos intactos). El tema es que ahí ya tengo un disco interno montado y entran en ciertos conflictos. Es como que no quiere/puede en run/media. Cualquier otro pen drive se monta ahí, sin problema. ¿Algún alma caritativa que sepa lo que puede estar ocurriendo?☺️ #EndeavourOSLinux #help #linux

Ich teste grade #EndeavourOSLinux , das macht auf den ersten blick guten eindruck und kommt mit dem 6.2er kernel. Nur irgendwie stockt grade der installer, da steht nur .... installiere 199 pakete ... scheint gecrasht zu sein, der installer. Uhhh nun gehts weiter 😎🖖
