#KaOS Linux running in #QEMU in fullscreen mode on my laptop, part of my research for a suitable linux demo live image.
To achieve this, start in normal mode, then select view->fullscreen in the qemu window, then set the monitor resolution in the guest system to the same size as your screen.
KaOS people will see that I changed the configuration a bit, but I really like it anyways. It comes with LibreOffice as well as Calligra office, and being arch/arcos based it is of course up to date and easily maintainable. I didn't try the installer, but it's calmares, which is usually working just fine.
One issue with all the live images I tried so far is that they do not come with danish locale, making them unsuitable for a linux demo for danes. So I might end up creating my own version of #ArcoLinux Plasma Pro, while it is still possible. That will also allow me to make a more non-geek friendly application selection.

останется огромная видеотека - автор дистрибутива записал более 5000 видео на youtube с туториалами разных штук для Arco, но, скорее всего, для Арча и Arch-based оно тоже пригодится, наверняка ещё и distribution-agnostic туториалы есть
мигрировать на :arch: можно, просто обновившись: разработчик подготовил апдейт, который заменит pacman.conf и mirrorlist на арчовые

Nach acht Jahren intensiver Arbeit an #ArcoLinux beendet der Gründer Erik Dubois sein Engagement. Die Entscheidung sei nicht leichtgefallen, schreibt er in einer Abschiedsbotschaft. Doch mit fast 60 Jahren merke er, dass Energie und Konzentration nachlassen. Jetzt sei der richtige Moment, das Projekt in Würde zu übergeben.
ArcoLinux war mehr als nur eine #LinuxDistribution.
